News & notes

Former Broadalbin-Perth QB Keegan Croucher now aspires to be the next Jaxson Dart. Or is it Eli Manning?

Croucher on Monday made a verbal commitment to Mississippi, where Dart starred before being drafted by the Giants back in April. Croucher is currently at Cheshire Academy in Connecticut.

In other news, Burnt Hills lacrosse star Grace Kogut has committed to UAlbany for next season.  Best of luck to Grace at the next level.

Tommy Kahnle pitched in Saturday's win over Seattle, hurling a scoreless inning, and continuing an outstanding post-season run for the Detroit Tigers.

Meanwhile, Jeff Hoffman also worked an inning on Saturday, as Toronto blew away the Yankees. The Blue Jays could close out the Bombers tonight, while the Detroit-Seattle series is even at a game apiece with game 3 today.
