The threat of severe weather, which came later in the day, forced postponement of some sectional games on Thursday, including Troy High @ Albany Academy (they'll try again today at 3). However, some games were played in baseball, softball, & lacrosse.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 7, Fonda-Fultonville 6.
Chatham 19, Duanesburg 4 (6 innings).
Lake George 3, Schoharie 1.
Hudson 12, Taconic Hills 2.
Softball results:
Class B:
Greenville 4, Taconic Hills 1.
Class C:
Mayfield 12, Rensselaer 2.
Women's lacrosse:
Class D finals:
Johnstown 12, Academy of Holy Names 8.
Class B finals:
Queensbury 13, Niskayuna 9 (game suspended due to weather, will resume today at 4 at Mohonasen).
Burnt Hills had previously captured the Class C title, and Bethlehem won the A title on Wednesday, beating Shenendehowa.
The men's lacrosse finals are set for today. The schedule:
At Columbia High:
Class A final: Bethlehem vs. Niskayuna
Class B final: Burnt Hills vs. Ballston Spa.
At Schuylerville:
Class C final: Glens Falls vs. LaSalle.
Class D final: Johnstown vs. Schuylerville.
More rain is in the forecast for Saturday, which could again wreak havoc with the schedule. Stay tuned.
