Setting the stage for the state tournaments

Ten teams from Section II will begin state regional play over the next three days, as all roads lead to the state title games on June 15.

Following a thrilling, extra-inning victory over Niskayuna on Monday, Shenendehowa gets a first-round bye in state play, and will take on Fayetteville-Manilus at Onondaga Community College on Saturday at 5 pm.

Class A:

Ballston Spa begins state play today against Massena at Salmon River High. First pitch is set for 5 pm. The winner plays Whitesboro on Saturday at a site to be decided. If Ballston Spa wins, the game will be played at Shuttleworth Park in Amsterdam.

If the Black Horses win, they'll go right back to the Plumeri Complex.

Class C:

Class D:

Whitehall plays Livingston Manor Saturday in Saugerites (Cantine Field). It's also the first game of the day, with first pitch at 1 pm.
