Courtesy of the Albany Times-Union, here's a look at where some former Section II basketball stars are playing their college ball.
You know that LaSalle alumnus Elijah Burns has returned home, and will play at Siena this season. He'll be joined by former CBA standout, Jordan King. Sloan Seymour transferred from Siena after one season, and will play at George Washington this year. Joseph Girard III, of course, is at Syracuse.
As for others of note:
Hameir Wright (Albany Academy): Washington.
Daniel Buie (transferred from Troy to Gould Academy in Maine): Northwestern. You'll see plenty of him on cable.
Ryan Carmello (Troy): Marist. He'll be at Times-Union Center to play against Siena.
Zach Radz (Troy) Sacred Heart.
Derrick Rowland (Green Tech): New Haven.
Andrew Sischo (Guilderland): Damien College.
Michael Ortale (Bethlehem): Iona. Eagles fans will flock to the TUC when the Gaels play Siena.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
