Guilderland graduate Andrew Sischo's season is over at Daemen College.

Daemen fell to West Texas A & M, 97-83 Wednesday night in Evansville, Indiana, in the Division II quarterfinals. Sischo registered another double-double with 29 points and 16 rebounds in the losing effort.

Put it this way. This put Daemen, a school in the Buffalo suburbs, on the map.

Siena men's basketball coach Carmen Maciariello had interviewed for the vacancy at Fordham last week.
Siena's response was to reward Maciariello with a 3 year contract extension that has him under contract through the 2025-6 season, after back-to-back MAAC regular season titles.

Meanwhile, Siena's women's volleyball team dropped a match Wednesday to Niagara, 3 sets to 1. No individual stats were reported.
