Could the insertion of Kevin Huerter into the starting lineup be the key to the Atlanta Hawks' finally winning an NBA title?

Huerter gained his promotion after DeAndre Hunter was lost for the season due to injury, and the Hawks have reached the Eastern Conference finals, where they beat Milwaukee in game 1 on Wednesday. Huerter contributed 13 points in the win.

We'll soon see if America's Sports Idiot, ESPN's Stephen A. Smith, has anything to say about Huerter (Shenendehowa/Maryland), a 3rd year pro, and his contributions, rather than fawning over Trae Young. Say the wrong thing, Stephen, and you'll be hearing about it from the 518, that I can promise.

The Troy Fighting Irish never took the field last Saturday in what was to be their home opener at Watervliet High. Oneida, their scheduled opponent, forfeited due to a lack of players, so the official score would be 2-0. Which is also the Irish's record, 2-0. Not the first time this has happened.

Suddenly, the Tri-City Valleycats have gotten hot.

The 'Cats have now won three in a row after beating Sussex County, 3-2, on Wednesday, 24 hours after a combined no-hitter, the 3rd in franchise history, on Tuesday.

Tri-City welcomes back the NJ Jackals tonight for a 1-shot, and then, the Washington (PA) Wild Wings come in for a weekend set. You were expecting them to be from Buffalo?
