 Any chance the Troy Fighting Irish had of a perfect season went down the tubes Saturday night in a 32-9 loss to the Brooklyn Seminoles in a non-conference game.

The only way we found out was via the Seminoles' Facebook page, as the Irish have not listed the result on their social media pages.

The Tri-City Valleycats were without manager Pete Incaviglia Sunday as the completed a sweep of the Sussex County Miners, 4-3, to hold on to first place in the Atlantic Division of the Frontier League.

Incaviglia & his counterpart, the Miners' Bobby Jones, got into a bit of an altercation on Friday in which Incaviglia accused the Miners' skipper of stealing signs, which, in his mind, might explain how Sussex County had gotten the jump on the 'Cats earlier this season.


Both managers will also be absent for Friday's game, also at Bruno Stadium.
