Golf season began for Troy High today at Frear Park. That's the good news. The bad? It was the same old story.
We don't have the full results as of now, should have them tomorrow, but Troy's men's & women's teams lost their openers to Guilderland.
Friday's home match vs. Shenendehowa has been postponed, and rescheduled for Monday, September 20, with a 4:15 pm start. I'm guessing a scheduling conflict, either with either school or Frear Park, is the cause. The Flying Horses, then, are now idle until Monday, when they open the road portion of their schedule at Columbia.
Troy's volleyball team has added a road match at Lansingburgh (Colonial Council) on Saturday, September 18, with an early bird start at 8 am.
