I misspoke when I said all 10 Section II basketball teams had to wait until Sunday.
Either that, or Averill Park, which was playing at Cicero-North Syracuse against Bishop Ludden, didn't get the memo.
In any case, with apologies to the late game show icon Allen Ludden, Bishop Ludden apparently didn't get their team password for the day, as the Warriors dominated en route to a 67-43 victory.

Yes, Amelia Wood was hot & cold from the free throw line in the 4th quarter, but why would you keep wasting fouls on her? What were the Ludden coaches thinking?
Digging the pro-style scoreboard at Cicero-North Syracuse. Wish they had more of those in Section II. Just sayin'.

Hockey season is over in Section II. Hours after Shenendehowa was eliminated by Suffern, Pelham routed Queensbury, 7-1. The two downstate teams meet for the state title tomorrow.
