No Moe, no problem.
The Albany Patroons quietly said goodbye to leading scorer Anthony Moe last week, when Moe accepted a contract to play in Chile.
AJ Mosby has picked up the baton, and, on Thursday night, scored 37 points to help the Pats erase a halftime deficit and defeat the London Lightning, 97-90, handing the Lightning, the leaders in the National Basketball League of Canada, their first loss.
Will Brown takes his team on the road this weekend, with rematches at Massachusetts tonight and Lehigh Valley on Sunday. If Brown wants to erase the loss in Lehigh Valley, league guidelines demand a $10,000 deposit. Hmmmm.

Troy High was to play Mohonasen in softball on Thursday, but, in anticipation of a late afternoon storm, postponed the game to this afternoon at 4:30.
However, the season's off to a horrible start for Troy lacrosse, as they were blown out by Colonie. All we know is that the Raiders racked up at least 12 goals, but a full score was not reported.
