 Bethlehem soccer star Claire Hutton has been named the US Women's soccer 17-& under national team. Ms. Hutton is spending her Easter vacation in Fort Lauderdale beginning her first practices with the team. From there, it's off the Domincan Republic to play in Group G of the CONCACAF World Cup. Best wishes & best of luck to Claire.

The Colonial Council, and likely, also, some other leagues, postponed most of its Thursday schedule because of rain and/or wet grounds. Check with the member schools for make up dates.

Also, Troy High's winless tennis team will have to wait another day for a match vs. Shaker. The Bison postponed their meet for the 2nd time in as many weeks.

Russell Sage split a doubleheader with Houghton, losing the first game in 6 innings, 17-2, then rebounding to win the nightcap, 5-3.
