News & notes

In the midst of a difficult, frustrating 2022 campaign at Siena, Ben Seiler (Albany Academy) is finding his groove.

Four days after fanning 16 vs. St. Peter's, Seiler struck out a season high 19, tops in the NCAA, in going nine innings vs. Niagara on Saturday. Unfortunately, the Saints lost in 10 innings, 6-5. Three Siena errors didn't help matters, as Seiler gave up 5 runs (2 earned) and 3 walks.

Brett Young (Albany Academy/Virginia Commonwealth) went 0-2 with 3 walks and a run scored.
