 Sectional play begins today for the women, as well as some of the men. Following are the 2022 Section II women's soccer sectional pairings:

Class AA:

Wednesday:

#9 Schenectady @ #8 Ballston Spa. Winner to play #1 Shaker Saturday.

Also Saturday:

#7 Guilderland @ #2 Shenendehowa.

#6 Bethlehem @ #3 Colonie.

#5 Saratoga @ #4 Niskayuna.

Semi-finals will be next Tuesday at Mechanicville. Finals will be October 29 at Stillwater.

Class AA:

#9 Troy @ #8 South Glens Falls. Troy is coming off a 6-0 Senior Day win over Albany. The winner of today's game will play Columbia on Friday.

#10 Lansingburgh @ 7 Scotia-Glenville. Winner will play #2 Queensbury on Friday.

Also Friday:

#6 Amsterdam @ #3 Burnt Hills.

#5 Averill Park @ #4 Mohonasen.

Semi-finals will be on Monday at Mechanicville. The finals are at Stillwater October 28.

Class B:

Quarter-finals will be on Saturday. Semi-finals are set for next Tuesday at Stillwater. Finals will also be at Stillwater on October 28.

#10 Rensselaer @ #7 Hoosick Falls. Winner plays #2 Lake George.

#11 Berlin-New Lebanon @ #6 Mayfield. Winner will play #3 Greenwich.

#12 Canajoharie @ #5 Chatham.

#13 LaSalle @ #4 Stillwater. The winners of these two games will meet on Friday.

Semi-finals are at Mechanicville on October 26. Mechanicville also hosts the finals on October 29.

Semi-finals will be at Watervliet on October 26, with the finals at Mechanicville on October 29. The CC & C champions will then meet November 2 at Mechanicville.

#5 Doane Stuart @ #4 Germantown. Winner to play #1 Fort Ann Monday at Stillwater.

Finals will be at Stillwater October 27.
