News & notes

It's clear Troy High's bowling team is not sneaking up on anyone anymore.

Dennis Poutre's Flying Horses dropped their 3rd straight Tuesday, 19-13, to Saratoga. Olivia DeCitise led Troy with a 660 triple, followed by Christian Rasmussen with a 603. They'll try to right the ship on Thursday vs. Ballston Spa, as they continue their homestand at Uncle Sam Lanes.

There's some even sadder news coming from Troy High.

Bill Schnellbaecher, who coached bowling, football, golf, & baseball over the course of a 34 year career in the Troy district, passed away Sunday at the age of 86 after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday at Leahy Funeral Home.
