 The superlative season of Albany Academy For Girls came to an end this morning at Hudson Valley Community College with a 70-50 loss to Putnam Valley. Congratulations to the Bears on a fantastic season at 24-2.

After winning Rookie of The Year honors in the America East Conference, Jonathan Beagle has entered the transfer portal at UAlbany. Beagle issued the following statement:

It used to be that when the Muscular Dystrophy Association held their annual Labor Day telethons, viewers were urged to stay up with Jerry Lewis and "watch the stars come out".

In 2023, that applies to the NCAA men's tournament at MVP Arena. Check out who's in the house today....

Everyone knows Bill Murray is a big time sports fan, having been seen at a zillion Chicago Cubs games, even singing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" at least once. We'll be hearing about this all day, I'm sure.

When the Atlanta Braves open their season in 2 weeks, Shenendehowa grad Ian Anderson will be suiting up for their Triple A team in Gwinnett.

Anderson was optioned to Gwinnett earlier this week after finishing the season there last year. The Braves are hoping Anderson can correct whatever it was that was causing him so much trouble in 2022 after beginning his major league career in 2020, and being a part of the team's World Series run in 2021. We're all rooting for you, Ian.
