The Albany Patroons made their final trip to Montreal for the regular season a successful one, beating the Toundra, 105-103, on Sunday. The Toundra will make their last trip to Albany for the season on Friday.
The Pats have just 2 home games left before the playoffs, Friday vs. Montreal, and May 26 vs. Tri-State. In between, they'll hunt for payback against Reading on Sunday, and will close in Syracuse on May 27.

Section II may think they've got a good thing going having the softball sectional finals at Luther Forest in Malta every year, but it's way past time they started looking elsewhere, and move the finals closer to the tri-cities.
But if it's money that matters, and it probably is, that would explain why Section II suits have not bothered to reach out to Siena College, UAlbany, RPI, or even Hudson Valley Community College. The baseball finals will be at Bruno Stadium next week, but I think HVCC also has a softball diamond on campus, unless softball also uses Bruno Stadium for home games.
Get a clue, Section II.
