 Maine completed a 2 game home sweep of RPI in hockey Friday night, 6-3. RPI has never beaten the Black Bears, home or away. The Engineers will remain on the road next weekend at Boston College & Providence, then get a bye week before a home & home vs. Union November 3-4. Their home opener is November 4 vs. Union.

Kennedy Swedick of Albany Academy obliterated the field in the Section II women's individual golf tournament, which wrapped Thursday at Edison Country Club in Rexford.

Swedick finished 20 under par over 36 holes. 8th grader Hayden Knapp of South Glens Falls finished 2nd.

The top 9 finishers will return to Edison next June.

Clarifying Troy High's soccer schedule for today.

The men close out the regular season at Schoharie, but they will not be facing Schoharie. Instead, Troy faces Chatham, while Schoharie meets Cobleskill-Richmondville. Both matches begin at 12 noon.

A women's road match at Scotia has been cancelled. No reason given. The Lady Horses close at home on Monday, looking to sweep a home & home series vs. Salem.
