News & notes

We were under the assumption that Greg Davis was still at LaSalle as their men's basketball. Turns out, no, he's not.

The Albany Times-Union, in doing an overview of winter sports today, revealed that Davis left LaSalle after last season, and is now at Colonie. His return to the Suburban Council means a date with Troy High is nigh.

And, as if current Troy coach Josh Pelletier hasn't got enough on his plate already with his team 0-4 heading into a Friday home game vs. Shaker, a former Troy player figures to haunt them, too.

In that same overview, it turns out Daniel Covington, who was dismissed from the Troy team last year, transferred to Albany.

One gets the feeling certain people in administration at Troy are paying the price for some decisions over the last year.........!

By the way, LaSalle has not updated their website, so we don't know who succeeded Davis, and has LaSalle off to a fast start. The Cadets are undefeated at last check.
