2024 Section 2 baseball sectional pairings

 Yesterday, we posted the Section 2 softball sectionals. Now, it's baseball's turn.

Tournament play is expected to begin tomorrow, weather permitting.

Class AAA:

Wednesday:

CBA @ Colonie. Winner advances to play Shenendehowa in a best of 3 semi-final starting Friday.

Friday:

Shaker @ Saratoga in a best of 3 semi-final series.

The finals, also best of 3, will be at Joe Bruno Stadium starting May 23.

Class AA:

Thursday: 

Troy @ Averill Park. The Flying Horses do get a bid, as they had the same league record as AP. The winner will meet Niskayuna on Saturday.

Mohonasen @ Queensbury. The winner meets South Glens Falls on Saturday.

Burnt Hills @ Amsterdam. Winner to play Bethlehem.

Guilderland @ Columbia. The winner to play Ballston Spa.

The semi-finals are Monday at Joe Bruno Stadium, with the finals, a best of 3, just like in Class AAA, starting May 23.

Class A:

Thursday:

Glens Falls @ Schalmont. The winner plays LaSalle Saturday at Geer Field.

Hudson Falls @ Ravena. The winner gets Ichabod Crane.

Gloversville @ Scotia-Glenville. The winner will play Broadalbin-Perth.

Lansingburgh @ Albany Academy. Winner to meet Cohoes.

The semi-finals will be Guilderland's Dutchman Park on Monday, with the finals at Bruno Stadium May 22.

Class B:

Stillwater @ Fonda-Fultonville.

Corinth @ Coxsackie-Athens.
