 The Colonial Council released its men's golf all-star team on Tuesday. Ichabod Crane's Tanner LaTorre was named league MVP.

Troy High's Joey Degnan & LaSalle's Braxton Shields made the 2nd team. The Cadets' Harrison Daley was named to the first team, and Troy's Kayne Behan was named to the 3rd team.

Section II's champions in field hockey will be traveling to Whitney Point for state regional play on Saturday. The lineup:

Class A: Guilderland vs. Windsor Central.

Class B: Burnt Hills vs. Vestal.

Class C: Hoosick Falls vs. host Whitney Point.
