Troy High sophomore Stetson Merritt, after torching Columbia for 48 points Tuesday, was named Wednesday to WNYT's Section II all star team.

Merritt is already drawing attention from college scouts, including at UAlbany. Troy embarks on a short road trip starting tomorrow at Ichabod Crane.

We have to confirm this, but according to the CDHSHL website, Friday's game between LaSalle and Gates-Chili appears to have moved from Frear Park to Knickerbacker Arena in Lansingburgh. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:15 pm. The Cadets then return to Frear Saturday afternoon for a matinee vs. Penfield at 12:05 pm. In addition, the following games have also been listed as moving to the Knick:

January 31 vs. Saratoga.

February 7 vs. Burnt Hills-Ballston Spa.

February 15 vs. Albany Academy (Senior Night).
