Glens Falls' Kellen Driscoll has committed to playing college basketball at RPI. Driscoll chose the Engineers over Ithaca, SUNY-Cortland, and St. Lawrence, among others.
Driscoll & the Black Bears will begin their quest to repeat at state champs Sunday at Guilderland vs. either Broadalbin-Perth or Lansingburgh.

Friday figures to be a busy night for local sports.
In addition to high school sectionals in basketball and college hockey, with Union & RPI both at home, the Albany Patroons & NY Phoenix will open their seasons. The Pats will welcome Halifax to the Washington Avenue Armory, and the Phoenix will christen their season with Connecticut. Both games, as well as the hockey games, begin at 7 pm.
