While it has not officially been announced on the team's website, the Tri-City Valleycats have traded for Shenendehowa grad Jake Reinisch, the son of Troy High athletic director Paul Reinisch. So far, the Daily Gazette is the only media outlet to report the trade, but it is not known who will be sent over to the NY Boulders in exchange for Reinisch, a 2024 graduate of Wake Forest.
