It's that time of year again, when basketball players enter the transfer portal, looking for new opportunities and a change of scenery.
To follow up on a report from last week, Albany Academy grad Riley Mulvey is transferring from Iowa to Siena. That was made official on Tuesday. The Rotterdam native will be reunited former Cadet teammate Marcus Jackson, unless Jackson enters the portal.
Meanwhile, on the women's side at Siena, leading scorer Teresa Seppala is entering the portal, as is Allison O'Hanlon (Duanesburg), who missed all of this past season due to a foot injury. With Albany grad Ahniysha Jackson graduating, you'd think O'Hanlon would've stepped right in to fill the void, but, as of now, nope.
Over at UAlbany, Amar'e Marshall is re-entering the portal for the 3rd straight year, and taking Justin Neely, Aaron Reddish, Zane Adnan, & Kani Topuz with him.
UAlbany will lose Byron Joshua, DeMarr Langford, Jr., & Kacper Klaczek, who've used up their eligibility and will graduate, while Wilkin Paulino, an incoming freshman, and junior college transfer Jaden Kempson will join the Great Danes.
Looks like Dwayne Killings is back in rebuilding mode.
