News & notes

Hall of Famer Ernie Banks was always ready to play two games. Today, Joe Bruno Stadium will have a triple-header.

The Tri-City Valleycats kick things off at 10 am this morning in the 2nd game of their series with the Down East Bird Dawgs, after Down East beat the 'Cats, 2-1, last night. Later, the Section II Class D semi-finals will be played, beginning at 4 pm. Separate admissions, I believe.
