The Tri-City Valleycats fell victim to Tuesday's late afternoon deluge of rain, and their game vs. the Gateway Grizzlies was postponed, to be made up today as part of a single admission Education Day doubleheader, starting at 10 am.
In other 'Cats news, it looks like pitcher Nick DeCarlo could be heading to the majors.
DeCarlo, per the Albany Times-Union, could sign with the Milwaukee Brewers as early as today, pending a physical.

Troy's Drew Ryan was named to the Colonial Council lacrosse all-star team, as a 1st team midfielder. Pretty good, considering Troy won just 2 games the entire season, both against Lansingburgh.

It's only mid-June, but LaSalle's hockey schedule is out. As previously noted, there is some question as to where they'll play most of their home games, as only their Senior Night game in February and 2 late January games will be at Knickerbacker Arena as of now. Frear Park's bar is undergoing renovations, but that might not prohibit the Cadets from returning to Frear. I've a feeling they will play all their home games at the Knick after all.
