Jose Ortiz has taken over the lead among the jockeys at Saratoga with 4 winners on Saturday's card. Brother Irad, Jr., the defending champion, had 3. Joel Rosario also had 2 winners. Dylan Davis didn't pick up any wins after scoring in the finale on Friday, but had 2 mounts finish in the money on Saturday.
We're back to a 10 race card today at 1:10 pm.

The Tri-City Valleycats have split the first two games of their series vs. Three Rivers. The Eagles won last night's slugfest, 11-5, despite the 'Cats getting homers from Jake Reinisch and All-Star Ian Walters. Easton Klein was the hard luck loser, so it's uncertain whether or not Klein will pitch on Wednesday in the All Star Game.
The series concludes (for now) today at 1:10 pm, and the teams will reconvene in Troy on Friday.

For the 3rd time in 4 years, the Upstate-Downstate football event will take place at Union College's Frank Bailey Field next month. Makes ya wonder if UAlbany wasn't interested in hosting.

Former WNYT anchor Phil Bayly was in a skiing accident at West Mountain back in March, but, as Bayly shared with the Albany Times-Union earlier this week, he can't remember the events of that day, or the month after. Bayly, if you saw the photos, also has lost his sight in his right eye. Prayers for full recovery.
