Mechanicville's Chad Brown moved into a tie for 1st in the trainer standings at Saratoga when he saddled Mommy's Turn in the Wednesday finale, the Suzie O'Cain Stakes. Brown is now tied with Linda Rice with 4 winners each. The Ortiz brothers, Irad, Jr. (11) & Jose (9), are 1-2 on the jockey leaderboard after Irad won 2 races, and Jose 1, on Wednesday. Dylan Davis has been stuck on 2 winners, and finished 2nd in the Suzie O'Cain with Disco Star for his only money mount of the day.
Davis is scheduled for at least three mounts today, with a 4th if the finale is taken off the turf and moved to the main track in case of rain. Sister Katherine is listed for four mounts, and, like Dylan, could add an extra if they 10th race is moved to the main track.
