None of Thursday's high school golf matches were reported to the local press. However, we do have some college soccer scores:

Women:

Siena 2, Holy Cross 1.

The Lady Saints are 2-0 at home, 2-1 overall. Next up is Bryant, Sunday at 4 pm. The game can be streamed on Siena All-Access.

Sacred Heart 3, UAlbany 2. The Lady Danes (0-2) host Army Sunday at 3 pm.

Men:

UMass 3, Siena 2. The Saints will move on to Boston to play Boston College on Monday.

UAlbany & Fairleigh Dickinson played to a 1-1 draw. The Great Danes will have their home opener next Thursday vs. Central Connecticut State.

The Tri-City Valleycats dialed up Broom Service once again, and wrapped up a post-season berth, as they swept the NY Boulders, 6-2 & 4-3, on Thursday night at Bruno Stadium.

Tickets are already on sale for a 1st round home playoff game on September 3.

The 'Cats will close the home portion of the schedule by opening a 3 game series vs. Joliet tonight at 6:30.

Duanesburg grad Jeff Mulhern will play his college ball at Mercy University this winter. Mulhern averaged 38.1 points per game as a senior leading the Eagles to the Class C title game, where they lost to Berne-Knox-Westerlo in March.

You might be wondering why last night's Giants-Patriots preseason game didn't air on local television. Amazon Prime had the game, which Big Blue won with a monster 2nd half, 42-10. The regular season starts in 2 1/2 weeks.
