Jake Reinisch struck again Tuesday, hitting his 19th homer of the season to lead the Tri-City Valleycats past New Jersey, 8-5.

A quick reminder that UAlbany's season opening football game vs. Iowa will be nationally televised Saturday night at 6 pm on FS1 (Spectrum cable channel 400). It would be nice if the Danes cut a deal for their home games to be broadcast locally if fans can't get to the campus.

James Allen (Spectrum News 1/Albany Times-Union) toured the LaSalle camp on Tuesday, and the news isn't promising.
1st year coach Mark Galuski admits that the roster is "light on numbers", including his son, Mark (different middle initial, so this is not senior & junior), but the focus should be on the field, not worrying about the legal hassles over being barred from postseason play.
We'll see.
