A few years ago, Catholic Central hosted a basketball tournament in memory of former coach Rich Gilooly, who'd passed away a year earlier from a heart attack.
Fast forward 7 years, and Gilooly's daughter, Kate, now a senior at LaSalle, and Moira Galuski, daughter of Kevin Galuski (and niece of football coach Mark), are doing their part to help. Moira was named the youngest Player of Impact by the American Heart Association on Thursday. Speaking of impact, expect both ladies to be key players for LaSalle's women's basketball team this winter.

Seems that Holy Trinity (Catholic Central/Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons) had quietly shifted to the Western Athletic Conference this fall, but CCHS will in fact field a women's basketball team in the Colonial Council starting with practices next month.
