Queensbury graduate Brigid Duffy, a senior at Army, has been named the Patriot League's Player of the Year in women's soccer. She was also named to the All-Patriot League 1st team. For the season, Duffy has 14 goals, and 15 assists, for 29 points. The Black Knights are in the league tournament, and will face Colgate on Thursday.

Flying under the radar as usual, Hudson Valley Community College's women's volleyball team has been seeded 7th in the National Junior College Athletic Association's national tournament. The Vikings are undefeated at 25-0, but, as usual, the strength of schedule factor works against them. HVCC will be playing 10th seeded Dallas-Brookhaven at home on Friday. Coach Therese DeCan came over from Cambridge to take over the program in 2022.
