Siena will be without its leading scorer in women's basketball for the rest of the season.
Freshman Francesca Schiro has been sidelined with a broken wrist. She averaged just over 17 points a game this season. Schiro is considered a favorite to win the MAAC Rookie of the Year award at the awards ceremony next month in Atlantic City.
The last spot in the CDHSHL quarterfinals was set Wednesday with CBA beating the Guilderville Storm, 5-4. The Storm finish with a 4-15-1 overall record. CBA will play Shenendehowa tomorrow night.
