Sectional roundup, 2/14

First round action in the women's sectionals in Classes B & C took place Thursday night, with only one upset to report.

That would be in Class B, where #17 Broadalbin-Perth took down #16 Hudson Falls, 42-28. Broadalbin-Perth will next play tomorrow at Tamarac.

As for the rest of the scores:

Class B:

Fonda Fultonville blew away Corinth, 53-19, earning a Saturday date with Voorheesville, the #4 seed.
Cohoes defeated Cairo-Durham, 39-33. They'll play Mekeel Christian tomorrow.
Glens Falls beat Greenville, 77-54. Next for the Lady Indians will be Mechanicville.
Watervliet downed Catskill, 64-41, and will play #5 Schalmont next.

Class C:

Canajoharie downed Saratoga Central Catholic, 48-44. They'll play top seeded Cambridge next.
Schoharie crushed Galway, 74-25, earning a date with #2 Hoosic Valley in the next round.

First round action in Class A begins tonight.
