Troy High notes, 10/21

As of press time, last night women's soccer match between Troy and Columbia has not been reported to the press. Neither school has said anything about the game on their Twitter pages, either.

However, it was Senior Night for the Blue Devils' men's team in East Greenbush, and Columbia beat Troy, 4-0. Mike Murnane's Flying Horses have been shut out in four of their five losses, scoring just 1 goal in 5 games. They're back on the road Saturday at Saratoga, while the women entertain the Blue Streaks in a brunch special at 11 am.

On Monday, Columbia shut Troy out in women's tennis, 9-0. I know it's an annoying refrain, but in all honesty, the talent just isn't there on the court for the Troy women. Columbia also swept the golf matches, leaving Troy's men at 0-11 (assume CBA beat them in a meet that wasn't reported), heading into the season finale at Shaker tomorrow.
