If it feels like home......

For the first time in more than 20 years, Siena College's men's basketball team will play some regular season home games at the Alumni Recreation Center (ARC) on their Loudonville campus next month.

As with UAlbany, there will be no fans at the ARC, which will call back to the now-famous 1989 run where fans were barred from the ARC due to a measles outbreak. This time, it is due to state guidelines in relation to the coronavirus, a much tougher, deadlier disease.

Also, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has adjusted its league schedule so that member teams will play two-game series on the same weekend vs. league rivals, which is the same model that the America East Conference, UAlbany's league, is using. Whether or not Siena will continue to use the ARC for men's games or move back to Times-Union Center after January 1 remains an open question.
