Apparently, the offense stayed at home (LaSalle @ Bethlehem, 2/23/21)

First place was on the line in the South Division of the Capital District High School Hockey League today, with LaSalle renewing their rivalry with defending champion Bethlehem. Unfortunately, it seems that the Cadets left their offense behind somewhere along 787 en route to Delmar.

We should have the final stats within 24 hours. Enjoy the game:

I'm pretty sure there are LaSalle supporters who will have issues, as will coach Tim Flanigan, about the disparity in penalties, as Bethlehem had 6 power plays to LaSalle's 1. The Eagles' Anthony Denison didn't do a good enough acting job to avoid going to the penalty box, and the Cadets made Bethlehem pay, as Jack Brown cashed in. However, after Nic Pauley was sent to the box with under 2 minutes left, the Eagles got the power play goal right back to put the game away.

We'll see if things are different tomorrow.
