Here we go again: Siena pauses men's basketball

It was not long ago that Canisius College had announced that their women's basketball team was shutting down for the season due to coronavirus.

The Albany Times-Union reported late last week that Siena's women's team wasn't about to do that, saying that they had come too far into the season to cancel the rest of their schedule.

The men's teams at both schools? A not-so-different story.

At this point, it'd be a surprise if they actually get to meet this season, with a month left in the regular season. In fact, the only way the two teams could meet at all is in the MAAC tournament next month in Atlantic City.

Stay tuned.
