 Rhode Island freshman Catherine "Dolly" Cairns is not only excelling on the court, but the Saratoga graduate has shined in the classroom, too.

Per the Albany Times-Union, Cairns has made the Dean's List for the 1st semester at Rhode Island. Congratulations, Dolly.

Colonial Council (men):

Albany Academy 102, Catholic Central 59. Preston Graber had a season high 43 points, including 10 3 pointers. Marcus Jackson added 11.

LaSalle 74, Schalmont 50. Gabe Lucarelli had 29 points to lead the Cadets, who will have a showdown with Academy next Saturday.

Suburban Council (men):

Troy 63, Bethlehem 38. Josh Rodriguez led Troy with 17 points. Marquis Hamby added 14.
Shaker 54, Averill Park 49. The Bison rebound after getting blown out by Troy on Friday.
Shenendehowa 83, Schenectady 56.
Saratoga 43, Niskayuna 36. The Blue Streaks' defense held Nisky to just 13 points in the 2nd half.
CBA 60, Burnt Hills 38.
Guilderland 61, Columbia 54.

Suburban Council (women):

Shenendehowa 79, Schenectady 40. Meghan Huerter broke the 1,000 point barrier, and led all scorers with 27 points, while sister Jillian added 19.

Shaker 57, Averill Park 49. Shaker pulls the upset, limiting Amelia Wood to 7 points. Sole Carrington had 12 for Shaker. Anna Jankovic led the Lady Warriors with 29 points, but had no backup.
