With spring sports starting a week earlier than planned, Troy High has released its baseball/softball schedule for 2021. Unlike basketball and soccer, the varsity teams will be together, and the JV's will be at the opposite site.
The schedule, subject to change, of course, due to inclement weather and/or COVID issues:
May 7: Home opener vs. Shenendehowa.
May 8: Schenectady.
May 12: Colonie.
May 14: Guilderland.
May 15: @ Albany.
May 17: Ballston Spa.
May 19: @ Shaker.
May 21: Niskayuna.
May 22: Columbia. (Softball senior day)
May 24: @ Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake.
May 26: @ Bethlehem.
May 28: @ Averill Park.
June 2: Baseball senior day vs. CBA (softball day off).
June 4: Season finales @ Saratoga.
It is not known presently if Troy will try to use 2, maybe 3 YouTube streams for home games (lacrosse included). Seeing as how the outdoor streaming is a work in progress, and vulnerable presently to adverse weather conditions, we'll find out by May 7.
