The Albany Dutchmen's season ended Thursday night, as their finale at Amsterdam was rained out in the 2nd inning with Albany leading, 3-1. Albany finishes in third place in their division, and with a .500 record after their last two games were rained out.

On the other hand, the Times-Union Center was rocking Saturday night, as the Empire extracted revenge on the Jacksonville Sharks, collecting a receipt for their only loss of the season. Albany finishes 7-1 for the regular season, and will host Carolina next week at the TUC after a 58-56 win.

After sweeping the New York Boulders earlier in the week, the Tri-City Valleycats have hit the skids in the Pittsburgh suburbs.
Pete Incaviglia's club has dropped back below .500 after losing, 6-2, to the Washington Wild Things on Saturday night. The two teams will close the series today at 5:35 pm before Tri-City makes its first trip into Canada to play Equipe Quebec on Tuesday.
