 Former Guilderland High star Andrew Platek is coming home.

Platek transferred to Siena from North Carolina, where he played four seasons under now-retired coach Roy Williams. Platek was mostly a bench player with the Tar Heels, but almost certainly would be a starter with the Saints, assuming he receives a waiver from the NCAA that would allow him to play this season.

It wasn't so long ago that LaSalle graduate Elijah Burns came to Siena as a graduate transfer, and led the Saints to the regular season MAAC title in 2020.
