As Troy High (and everyone else in Section II) heads toward the Christmas break, the opportunity arises to announce the school's spring sports schedule.
As was the case in the past, the varsity teams will travel together, with the JV's at the opposite site. The lacrosse team's schedule is a wee bit different, as you'll see.
As of right now, the softball team doesn't have any non-league games scheduled, but that could change.
March 25: Softball home opener vs. Catholic Central.
March 28: Softball vs. Lansingburgh.
March 31: Lacrosse opener at Colonie, Softball @ Mohonasen.
April 2: Lacrosse home opener vs. Catholic Central.
April 4: Baseball/men's tennis openers @ Colonie. Softball @ Colonie.
April 5: Lacrosse vs. Albany.
April 6: Baseball/men's tennis home openers vs. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake. Softball vs. Burnt Hills.
April 7: Lacrosse @ Shaker.
April 8: Baseball/softball/men's tennis @ Shaker.
April 9: Lacrosse vs. Amsterdam.
April 11: Baseball/Softball/men's tennis vs. Averill Park.
April 12: Lacrosse vs. Averill Park.
April 13: @ Saratoga. The baseball team begins a 5 game road trip, and it'll be a 3 game/match trip for the others.
April 14: Lacrosse @ Saratoga.
April 15: Softball @ Cohoes.
April 16: Softball @ Whitesboro, also vs. New Hartford @ Whitesboro. Lacrosse @ Amsterdam.
April 18: Baseball @ LaSalle (likely at Geer Field). It'll be Easter week, with a 12 noon start.
April 19: Lacrosse @ Ballston Spa.
April 20: Baseball/Softball/men's tennis @ Ballston Spa.
April 22: Baseball @ Lansingburgh.
April 21: Lacrosse @ Hudson Falls.
