Weekend sectional scoreboard, 2/26-27

 Championship week in Section II basketball starts tonight at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls with the Class C semi-finals and one Class CC semi-final. For now, let's take a look back at this weekend's action:

Saturday:

Tuesday @ Cool Insuring Arena:

LaSalle vs. CBA. Coach Greg Davis will be looking to win his 2nd sectional title (won the A title with Troy in 2019).

Albany vs. Green Tech. The Eagles' lone sectional title came in 2014.

Gloversville 76, Troy 72 (2 OT). James Collar, the coach's son, led all scorers with 33 points for the Dragons. Dan Covington had a season high 28 points for Troy.

Amsterdam vs. Gloversville.
Mekeel Christian vs. Hudson Falls. Chad Bowman's Lions have reached their third straight semi-finals (won in 2020, lost to Troy in the finals in 2019).

Class D:

Northville 44, Fort Ann 29.
North Warren 57, Hartford 48.
