News & notes

The Albany Times-Union announced its women's bowling all-star team for 2021-2 in Section II. Troy lefthander Olivia DeCitise not only made the 1st team, but was named Player of The Year.

Because Troy doesn't have a formal women's team, DeCitise has played with the boys, and carded a 213 average in Suburban Council play. She earned a spot in the state tournament with her stellar performance. Given how she's also dominated in softball, look for more honors to head her way this summer.
