Back at Bruno Stadium, the 518 Futures game took place, along with a home run derby, on Thursday, as the morning rains gave way to afternoon sunshine.

40 players in all, juniors & seniors alike, took part in the game. Hoosick Falls' Jake Sparks won the initial home run derby, while Team Stripes walked off Team Stars, 8-7. Troy High's Mike Kennedy started for Team Stars. LaSalle senior Eddie Yamin was a contributor as well, as WNYT's Ashley Miller narrates the highlights:

September 7: Home opener vs. Shaker.
September 14: @ Bethlehem.
September 19: Guilderland.
September 23: @ Shenendehowa.
September 28: Schenectady.
October 3: @ Albany.
October 7: Senior Day vs. Ballston Spa.
October 12: @ Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake.

We'll have the rest of the fall lineup as it becomes final.
