The Tri-City Valleycats' playoff chances are slipping away in the midst of a 4 game losing streak heading into their road finale today vs. the NY Boulders.
The Boulders defeated Tri-City, 11-10, in a slugfest Saturday night, and have dominated the 'Cats in this budding in-state rivalry. The 'Cats could be mathematically eliminated with a Boulders win today.

LaSalle's women's golf team will wait just a wee bit longer for their debut.
Their scheduled home opener vs. Albany Academy on Wednesday has been cancelled. No explanation, though one suspects scheduling conflicts. According to the Colonial Council's page for the Cadets, the start time was moved to 4:15 pm, which would be the normal start after the school year officially begins. Instead, LaSalle & Academy will be in a 3-team meet with Mohonasen on September 22 at the Colonie Country Club.
