All season long, we've been wondering why Capital Region Soccer listed Troy High as an independent, so we reached out to Ernie Clement at Capital Region Soccer on Monday. He said that Troy had made a request to the Suburban Council after a horrid 2021 campaign to be released from a full 2022 league schedule in soccer. That request was granted, which explains why they've played 5 non-league games.

The Flying Horses carry a 2-game winning streak into tonight's home match vs. Albany, looking for their first win against a Suburban Council opponent.
