Due to renovations at SEFCU Arena, the UAlbany Great Danes will play their home basketball games across the river at Hudson Valley Community College's Joseph McDonough Field House this season, both men & women.
Right now, here's the men's schedule:
Ticket prices will be announced at a later date. If anything, this should also raise HVCC's profile for their basketball team, which doesn't get as much attention as UAlbany, Siena, or even the College of St. Rose.
Now, check the women's schedule:
Now, you're probably wondering why HVCC, and not sharing MVP Arena with Siena. Aside from the often-contentious relationship between Siena and UAlbany, HVCC is affiliated with SUNY, which made this a slam dunk.
The only thing left is to consider the prospect of UAlbany vs. HVCC in a pre-season game. Book it!
