They wouldn't get a ticker tape parade, but..........

 The Troy High softball team reunited last Thursday for a special occasion at City Hall. The 22-3 Flying Horses were recognized by the Troy City Council for their accomplishments, reaching the state semifinals before being eliminated.

Coach Sean Geisel's club graduated only three seniors in 2022, so they'll have their nucleus, including ace pitcher Olivia DeCitise, back for the 2023 season.

Before the city discontinued the Flag Day parade in 2019, you would think the team would've been honored at such an event this year. But, just imagine if they go all the way to the state title this coming season.......
